This episode explored the description of Job that he eschewed or shunned evil.

*Galatians 5:13-21 - These scriptures by Paul that we should not use the liberty granted to us to fulfill the lusts of the flesh. Paul then goes on to give an extensive list of these works. These are the evils we should shun or turn away from in our everyday walk.

*Romans 7:14-17 & 24 - These scriptures find Paul recognizing that when he wants to do good he does the opposite and that no good thing dwells in the flesh. He goes on in verse 24 to lament of what a miserable person he is because of the flesh.

*Ephesians 4:17-32 - Paul writes to the Ephesians that there is a hope for the flesh. That we do not walk as others walk but we should renew our minds and put on a new creature after the likeness God.

*Philippians 4:8 - Shunning evil is not only about not doing evil things but also not allow the evil that attacks us to take hold in our lives. In order to do this, we need to do as Paul instructed her and think only on those things that are of a good report. This will protect our mind and heart from those fiery darts that try to attack us.
